Dr Ed Smith is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Scarborough Hospital, Deputy Medical Director, and Care Group Director for Medical Services, at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Ed has strong interest in service delivery in, and sustainability of, smaller remote and rural acute hospitals and will be contributing expertise on these settings
